Antique Jade Bangle, Hetian Nephrite, Ming/Qing
A rare Hetian nephrite bangle bracelet from the late Ming/early Qing Dynasty. The color is a soft celadon green nephrite with areas of brown. The oval shape is typical in earlier jade bangles as it conforms well to the shape of the wrist. Inside measurement is 55mm to fit a small wrist. Weighs 41.4 grams. Beautiful fatty luster and silky feel. This is part of our collection which was verbally authenticated at the San Francisco Asian Art Museum in 1974. A real find for the jade collector.
