Beautiful natural Baltic amber brooch in egg-yolk color. Completely natural with no heat treatment. Mounted in sterling silver. Dates from the 1970s. Amber is the fossilized resin of an extinct pine tree. It dates from about 40 million years ago at a time when dinosaurs walked the earth. Included amber is highly sought after by collectors. This brooch measures approximately 2.5 x 1.5 inches. A gorgeous piece of handmade vintage jewelry. Can be worn vertically or horizontally.
