Jade Pendant Necklace, Hetian Nephrite, Qing Dynasty
A substantial Hetian nephrite jade carving of fruit or gourds dating from the Qing Dynasty. It can be worn as a pendant on the included adjustable length neck cord.
The color is a pale celadon green on one side with russet areas on the other side. Very well carved with a beautiful fatty luster and silky feel. It measures approximately 2.5 inches long, 1.5 inch wide, and weighs 79.6 grams. The artisan cleverly incorporated the russet color areas into the vines and foliage of the piece. A find for the jade connoissuer.
