Jade Pendant Necklace, Rare Color Nephrite, Qing
A very rare color nephrite jade pendant necklace on an adjustable length chain. 14K yellow gold bale. Chain is 18K gold over sterling silver. In over 40 years of collecting and sharing jade we have never before seen this color of nephrite. Authenticated by a GIA Graduate Gemologist. It is a very soft melon color. Very well carved on both sides. The color on the back is slightly lighter than the front. The first two photos show the front and back. The pendant measures approximately 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. A rarity for the jade connoisseur.
