Vintage Kanchanaburi sapphire and diamond ring. Unisex style. Approximately 1 carat natural deep blue sapphire surrounded by channels of bead set white diamonds. The gemstone is a RARE coveted Kanchanaburi sapphire with excellent color. The mounting is yellow and white gold. Currently a size 10 but some resizing is possible. This is a very sophisticated style suitable for either a man or woman. Its low profile makes it a great everyday choice for people who use their hands a lot. Total gem weight is approximately 2 carats ctw. Weighs 5.9 grams. Dates from the 1970s. Excellent condition. The Kanchanaburi mine stopped producing in 2009 driving up prices and making the Kanchanaburi sapphire a rare gemstone.
